The venue for our monthly meeting is the Bowlers Arms, Enborne St, Newbury RG14 6TW (Newbury Cricket club).
It has recently been rebuilt so is now a very modern pleasant location with plenty of parking etc. We will be using part of the bar area that will be split off from the main area using a substantial floor to ceiling partition giving us our own private space and entrance as well as a separate access to the bar. The area is set out with well spaced tables and chairs for about 32 people, but extra chairs can be provided if necessary. In summer there are many benches outside that we can use. They are happy to provide us with food such as mince pies, lasagne or similar, so very similar to Deadwood. In addition we will not have to pay any rental for the use of this lovely facility.
